Plain-language summary — this section is not a substitute for the full terms below, just an orientation. PROTOKOL is a personal habit and learning app. Your daily data is stored locally and, if you sign in, synced to your account. Some features require a paid subscription (Pro or Elite), billed and managed through the app store. Cancel any time from your store account. Do not misuse the app, and we can suspend accounts that do.

01. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using PROTOKOL ("the app," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

02. What PROTOKOL is

PROTOKOL is a personal development and daily-routine app. It builds a daily plan from a short setup (your profession, goal, and available time), tracks routines and progress, and generates AI-adapted lessons from books to your profession. It is a personal productivity tool, not professional, medical, financial, or legal advice of any kind.

03. Accounts and data

You can use core features of the app without an account, with data stored only on your device. Creating an account lets you sync data to the cloud and restore it on a new device. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

04. Subscriptions and billing

PROTOKOL offers optional paid tiers (Pro and Elite) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the app store — we do not process payments directly.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription from your store account settings, not within the app.
• Refunds are handled according to the store’s refund policy — we don’t control or guarantee refund decisions.
• Prices may change; we’ll give notice before any change affects an active subscription.

05. AI-generated content

Some features (including book-to-profession lessons and daily insights) are generated using AI. This content is generated dynamically based on your inputs and may occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or not perfectly suited to your situation. Treat AI-generated lessons as a starting point for your own thinking, not as verified fact or professional guidance.

06. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app’s source code beyond what’s permitted by applicable law
• Interfere with or disrupt the app’s infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the app outside of normal use
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

07. Intellectual property

The app, its design, branding, and underlying code are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Your own entries (notes, logs, goals you write) remain yours — we don’t claim ownership over content you create within the app.

08. Disclaimer of warranties

PROTOKOL is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific goals or expectations. Your use of any habit, routine, or lesson suggested by the app is at your own discretion.

09. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of progress, or any outcome related to habits, goals, or decisions made using the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app for violations of these terms, or discontinue the app or any feature at our discretion, with reasonable notice where practical.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law provides otherwise for users in other jurisdictions.
